Frequently Asked Questions
Got questions? We’ve got answers.
We exclusively serve e-commerce businesses in the United States and Canada. This focus is intentional — US and Canadian e-commerce accounting has specific complexity (Amazon FBA nexus, Shopify payout reconciliation, post-Wayfair sales tax, Canadian GST/HST) that requires deep specialization. By focusing only on US and Canadian sellers, we deliver a higher level of accuracy and expertise than a generalist firm serving clients worldwide.
We specialize exclusively in QuickBooks Online (QBO). All bookkeeping, reporting, and financial management is done in QBO — we don't work in Xero, Wave, FreshBooks, or Zoho. For Amazon and Shopify sellers, we connect QuickBooks to A2X, which automatically maps your marketplace settlements into accurate journal entries. This combination — QBO + A2X — is the gold standard for e-commerce bookkeeping and the only setup we recommend and support.
Our monthly bookkeeping plans start at $199/month for small sellers and go up to $699/month for established multi-channel sellers. All plans include QuickBooks Online setup and A2X integration at no extra charge. You can view our full pricing breakdown on the Pricing Plan page. For catch-up bookkeeping and QuickBooks setup, we offer one-time fixed prices starting at $200 and $300, respectively. If your needs fall outside our standard plans, we'll build a custom quote — fixed price, no hidden fees.
Yes. We use trusted, cloud‑based accounting platforms like QuickBooks Online and A2X, which follow industry‑standard security protocols. Your financial data is encrypted, stored safely, and accessible only to authorized users. We prioritize confidentiality and transparency, ensuring your information remains protected at every step.
We do not currently provide standalone payroll processing or personal/corporate income tax filing. Our focus is e-commerce bookkeeping, QuickBooks Online management, and sales tax compliance (US states and Canadian GST/HST/PST). If you need income tax filing, we prepare CPA-ready financial packages so your accountant or tax preparer can file efficiently. For payroll, we can track payroll transactions in QuickBooks but recommend a dedicated payroll provider like Gusto or ADP for actual payroll processing.
Our team is based in Pakistan, operating as a fully remote bookkeeping firm that exclusively serves US and Canadian e-commerce businesses. We hold QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification, follow US GAAP accounting practices, and schedule all client calls during US and Canadian business hours (EST/PST). Many leading e-commerce bookkeeping firms operate this same model — we're simply transparent about it. Our pricing reflects the cost advantage of our location without compromising on expertise or responsiveness.
Onboarding takes approximately 3–5 business days. Here's the process: (1) You book a free 30-minute consultation call. (2) We assess your current books and agree on a plan. (3) You grant us access to QuickBooks Online, Amazon Seller Central, and Shopify. (4) We complete your QBO setup and A2X integration. (5) We do an initial reconciliation and deliver your first month-end report. From that point, bookkeeping runs monthly on autopilot.
You will have a dedicated account manager who handles your books personally. You'll know their name, communicate with them directly, and they'll know your business inside out. We deliberately keep our client list small to maintain this level of service.
We use read-level or accountant-level access in QuickBooks Online, Amazon Seller Central, and Shopify — we never ask for admin or payment access. All platforms use encrypted connections and multi-factor authentication. You can revoke our access at any time with a single click. We've never had a data breach or security incident.
All plans are month-to-month with no long-term contracts. If you're not satisfied, you can cancel with 30 days' notice. We'll deliver your final month-end reports and hand off your books in clean order. We'd also ask for feedback so we can improve — but we won't hold your data hostage or make cancellation difficult.
Yes. We handle Canadian GST/HST registration with the CRA, quarterly or annual GST/HST filings, and provincial tax compliance (BC PST, QC QST, MB RST, SK PST). We configure QuickBooks Online for Canadian entities including CAD currency, Canadian chart of accounts, and CRA-compliant reporting. If you sell in both the US and Canada, we manage both simultaneously.
No. QuickBooks Online setup is included in all our monthly plans. If you don't have a QBO subscription yet, we'll help you choose the right tier and get it set up as part of onboarding. If you already have QBO but it's misconfigured, we'll audit and rebuild your setup.
QuickBooks is the tool, and bookkeeping is the expertise. Most e-commerce sellers who set up QBO themselves end up with Amazon payouts dumped as single deposits, no COGS tracking, and sales tax that doesn't reconcile. It looks like bookkeeping, but the numbers are wrong. We configure A2X to map every Amazon and Shopify settlement correctly, categorize every transaction to the right account, and deliver a P&L you can actually use to make business decisions — not just a list of transactions.
It depends on how far behind you are and your transaction volume. A 3-month backlog typically takes 3–5 business days. A full year typically takes 1–2 weeks. Multi-year cleanups are quoted individually. We'll give you a firm timeline and fixed price after reviewing your books during the free consultation.
